What are the Divisions?
The Divisions are broken up into 4 unique tiers.
The different tiers provide multiple options for gyms and programs to efficiently increase productivity on teams. This gives you as the program director or owner the flexibility to field numerous styles of teams compliant throughout the world.
These tiers are specifically designed to build a solid foundation for students and increase numbers of customers throughout each program.
The Divisions help target all types of customers – further expanding interested clientele and the ability to field a team for every individual athlete.
Novice
Offering gyms the ability to gain athletes by starting them from the beginning.
Novice teams are scored to allow a coach to track progress.
Novice teams are not placed according to scores at Global Events, all novice teams are awarded banners.
Prep
The Prep Division offers more realistic rules for your growing cheer gym, to build successfully skilled athletes faster.
All ages with mixed skills can be on one team.
Mix the stunting and tumbling skills from multiple levels.
Elite
The Elite Division offers standard scoring.
Set up your teams the way you always have and they can still compete in the league.
Skills
The Skills Division is for individuals, duos, trios, and stunt groups competing a section of a routine.
The Skills Division is a perfect choice for those who want more competition options or more seasonal opportunities.
Things To Know

You DO NOT need to be registered to any Governing Body in the sport of Competitive Cheer to compete with Global Events.

Global Championship events are open registration, you do not need a bid to register.

Elite and Prep teams compete both days at all Global Events 2 day competitions.

Novice Teams are ranked for awards. All teams will be scored and sent to gyms to track team progress.

Global Events uses RegChamp for registration, a simple process. Teams can be transferred easily between all EP’s using RegChamp.

D1/D2 Splits-Global Events will split a division if there is 2 or more D1 and D2 in a division.

All multi-comp discounts must be paid at a time of registration, or before 1st competition participation. If discounted fees are not paid before 1st competition, standard pricing will apply.

Spectator entry fees can be paid with cash or credit card, as well as online using the event QR code supplied. Kids 5 and under always free.

Global Events has no Stay-to-Play Events. Some events we will offer discounted block rates. Global Events accepts no extra discounts from hotels or “Kick-Backs.”

Bids can be used at any Global Championship Event. Multiple bids by the same team can be combined for bigger discounts towards that teams registration.
Global Cheer and Dance is a standard in the cheer and dance industry. We offer insurance solutions, background checks, training, judges reviews, community opportunities, scoring, and industry support to cheerleading programs and dance studios who would like a better solutions than what is currently offered in the industry.
Division Scoring Options provide the flexibility your program needs to grow, including less restrictive scoring options and less restrictive team requirements!
No need to revise your routines! Our scoring system offers flexibility and freedom to compete your current routine at all Global Cheer and Dance Events or other EP’s.
